Peter Josephson
Peter Josephson is a key person within MP bolagen and has been so since he was employed as the Vice CEO in 1996. He took over the role as CEO and Group Chief Executive Officer in 1997 and also served as the CEO of the subsidiary, MP bolagen Industri AB, between 2000-2010. After 23 years as the CEO, Peter was appointed as the Executive Chairman in 2020, with a specific focus on capital management.
Since 1996, Peter has been a board member in the parent company's board and has also served as the CEO for the subsidiaries MP bolagen Skogsindustri AB and Nordholz GbmH since 2016. He is also involved in the foundations that Werner established.
His close relationship with Werner dates back a long time and has shaped his deep commitment and responsibility for the group. He fully shares the company's values and is proud of the employees' expertise and dedication.
In his free time, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports, nature, fishing, and history. Australia and New Zealand are favorite destinations, and he appreciates the music of Bruce Springsteen and Mark Knopfler.
Evert Karlsson
Evert Karlsson became part of the MP bolagen in 1995 and today has the role of CEO. For Evert, what most distinguishes MP bolagen is the stability the company has had since 1953, the fine values, the wonderful employees and the exciting business areas in which the company engages.
In his free time, Evert prioritizes spending time with his wife, family and close friends. He also values activities that keep him physically active, including forest work and exercise.
When it comes to travel, there are two destinations that are high on Evert's bucket list, Florida and Canada. Music has always been a significant part of Evert's life, and currently his favorite song is I Want It All by Peter Johansson. One of his most personal possessions is an ice hockey stick, which reflects his passion and dedication to the sport of ice hockey.
Properties / forestry
Erik Karlsson
Erik Karlsson has been part of MP bolagen since 2018, where he is responsible for the management of properties and forests. His appreciation for the company is based primarily on the security offered and the breadth of the group's various business areas.
In addition to his work, Erik is a person with a versatile and rich free time. He is passionate about football and loves to travel and explore different places. The outdoors is a central part of his relaxation, and it is not uncommon for him to take his motorcycle and head off to some shelter where he can cook over an open fire. This activity gives him a sense of peace and tranquility.
It wouldn't be surprising to hear Avicii's song Levels playing on his way home. This gives an insight into his personality and the energetic way he integrates various interests into his life.
Erik Lantz
Erik started at MP bolagen on February 19, 2024 as a property caretaker, a role that came naturally to him after many years as a carpenter. He feels secure and satisfied with his choice of workplace, where he looks forward to continuing his work.
In his spare time, Erik is a family man who prioritizes spending time with his loved ones. He enjoys accompanying his children to their various activities.
To unwind and recharge, Erik likes to take his family to Adriansnäs. There, he can truly relax and enjoy nature especially with a fishing rod in hand by a calm lake. It's a place where he can feel secluded from the stresses of everyday life and simply enjoy the tranquility.
During the car rides between the different properties, where Erik spends part of his workday, he enjoys listening to everything from punk to dance music, which gives him energy and joy during the trips.
Agriculture
Frans Johansson
Frans Johansson started his work at MP bolagen in December 2022. His main area of responsibility is to run Farstorps Gård.
When asked about the best thing about MP bolagen, he mentions that it is a company that takes good care of its employees, and he feels engaged and important.
In his free time, Frans spends time with his family and hunting with his dogs. He also appreciates taking a motorcycle ride. One of his favorite travel destinations is Alaska, where he enjoys bear hunting and experiencing the beauty of nature.
Frans favorite artist and song is Sabaton's Soldier Of Heaven. On a more personal level, he values his coffee mug because it has a picture of what he loves the most, his family.
