The corrosivity classes are according to SS_EN ISO 12944-2 and taking into account the corrosivity of the atomic sphere and environmental examples.The examples below is typical environments in the tempered climate zone (informative).
Lifespan of the surface treatment
Below is a calculation of the lifespan of the surface treatment until red rust appears on the surface. Average etching per unit area and one-sided thickness reduction - one-year exposure.

Mats Sixtensson
Mats is part of our team since March 1, 2024, after working in product development at a major company in aluminum processing. In his current role as Product Development Manager, he enjoys the familial atmosphere and the wide range of products.In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and loves working on and ride his classic Italian scooters. But his interests also extend to building things, which can range from electrifying a longboard to building his own CNC machine. Mats doesn't have a specific favorite artist, but he enjoys listening to rock music to get in the right mood.
When it comes to dream destinations, the choice is easy for Mats - Croatia. There, the sun, the sea, and the opportunity for snorkeling appeal to him the most.
Patrik Hillström
1990 was the year Patrik Hillström was employed at MP bolagen, so he has been on a fantastic journey over the years. He has tried the role of salesman, but now Patrik is responsible for product development of our steel products such as cable ladders etc.
It is a well-managed company that is not afraid to develop and invest, he thinks.
A bit of a training junkie with a lot of focus according to colleagues, but also someone who likes outdoor life.
He don't have a direct favorite destination, but a trip with the cab is never wrong. Best is still a beautiful sparkling winter day on the ski track, which is hard to beat, says Patrik.
