About floor boxes

The floor boxes are installed either in a casting box or a cutout made in the floor. Depending on preference, these can be equipped with power, data, and more. Below are descriptions of the various products we can offer for floor installations.

Installation unit

The installation units are available in both square and round versions. They can be used in recesses, or clamped into a floor. There is room for a mat or similar in the door and they are easily equipped with sockets and mounting frames for data and media. The installation units can be ordered in both plastic and stainless steel.

Bodo

Bodo Aluminum - the floor box that can be driven over. This variant fits perfectly in car garages or other environments where the requirements are tougher.
It can be driven over with a car even in used condition and wet cleaning is no problem either. Bodo is available in two different designs in aluminum and also one in polyamide plastic for simpler loads.

Cover and mouting frame

Cover and mounting frame are used together and placed on a solid surface, either in a potting box or a recess. Adjustment takes place so that the top of the cover is level with the finished floor. The sockets are placed in a device box that is inserted into a mounting frame.

Moulding piece

The mold can be used alone or together with a casting box. It is placed out and then it is cast in. When the concrete has hardened, the formwork is removed and the installation unit is assembled.

Junction boxes

A junction box is placed under the intended floor surface and feeding pipes or cable ducts are connected. The floor is then cast and the associated formwork determines which installation unit can be mounted.
