2017 - SCA - Östrand pulp factory
In June 2018 SCA had completed one of the largest industrial investments in Sweden and the largest to date in Northern Sweden. Work commenced in 2015 and by the summer of 2018 it was completed on time and according plan. Production is more than doubled, from 430 000 tonnes to 900 000 tonnes, and made the plant the largest production line for bleached softwood kraft pulp in the world. Photo: Torbjörn Bergkvist

Wide span cable ladders are excellent for long bracket distances.
A large number of wide span cable ladders for cables to production. In total, approximately seventy kilometers of cable ladders were delivered to the project.
Östrand pulp mill capacity:
- Bleached softwood kraft pulp, NBSK, 900 000 tonnes/year.
- Chemical thermo mechanical pulp, CTMP, 100 000 tonnes/year (2020) when the new facility at Ortviken industrial site is completed in 2023, the production will triple to 300,000 tonnes / year.
- Green electricity 1,0 TWh/year at full production.
- 385 employees.
